Gwar and Warbeast at The Beacham in Orlando, FL - 04-24-2013

Damn, that was a killer show!

I really enjoyed local opening band The Attack. They have a very upbeat punk-type style. Most of the crowd seemed to dig them but there were a few people not wanting anything to do with their music. I guess they wanted something more METAL!

I had never heard of Wilson until a couple of days before the show. They were good but not really my cup of tea.

Warbeast on the other hand played a killer set! The crowd seemed to dig them ALOT, as there was a mosh pit for most of the show. This is thrash at it's finest. The guys did not disappoint, even if they had some major issues with their van a few days before and had to cancel 3 shows. They were on a mission and they delivered. I've said it when I reviewed the album on our show and I'll say it again: "Destroy" is my album of the year so far. I got a chance to talk to Bruce and most of the band throughout the night and made a point to let them all know. They're all cool guys and definitely deserve your support.

What can be said about Gwar besides all the things that have already been said before? I won't even try... their set was killer (as usual) and they delivered tons of bloody fun to all assembled. If you've never seen Gwar live, you need to treat yourself to them at least once in your miserable lifetime. You haven't experienced a concert until you've experienced Gwar!
